Since 1983, our goal has always been, "a sound mind in a sound body," consistantly producing Champions, Field Champions, CD Degrees, and just plain, loving couch-potatoes since our first litter in 1986. All of our dogs are checked for hips, eyes, and thyroid to better insure future owners with a healthy, life-long companion.

Serqet was home to one of the top producing Ibizan Hound sires, CH Serqet Castlemaghn Legend who sired twenty American champions and sired/grandsired three All-Breed Best In Show winners. Hogan passed away in March of 2010 but his influence on the breed is everlasting. He was a once-in-a-lifetime dog who spent his twelve and a half years on this earth trying to figure out how to become a human. He will always be in our hearts.

We breed infrequently, generally no more than once every two years, to allow for us to research the pedigrees and health of our dogs and determine the best matches possible to create the best Ibizan Hounds. Our dogs go on to become show dogs, coursing dogs and pets and are suited for whatever their owners ask of them.

We've incorporated old lines into our breeding program to maintain the authenic look that our dogs possess. In 2007 we exported our first dog to be campaigned in Europe with her new owner in Finland.

Serqet Ibizan Hounds are fabulous ambassadors of their breed because of their form, function and amazing temperaments. They are always having a good time in whatever they do and really bring to life the Ibizan Hound's nick name of "Peter Pan of Dogs."
