Serqet Ibizan Hounds has been one of the premier names in the breed since the early 80s with the acquisition of our foundation bitch, CH Khensu's Aset of Serqet. Since then, Elaine has worked very hard to create a very distinguishable line of Ibizan Hounds which excel in every discipline. Combining with many top names in the breed, the Serqet name has become synonymous with beautiful breed type, incredible soundness and unmatched form and function.

Our most prominent dog is, without question, CH Serqet Castlemaghn Legend aka "Hogan", who has produced multiple group winning/placing Ibizan Hounds as well as a multiple BIS/BISS winner and two grand-daughters who have won Best in Shows. Hogan is a former Top Producing Ibizan Hound sire of 2000 & 2002. Hogan's mother, CH Serqet Scarlet Fox Flame was the top producing Ibizan Hound dam of 1999.

In 2002, Elaine met up with junior handler Sarah Murphy who joined Serqet after the acquisition of her first Ibizan Hound, CH Serqet Rio Afortunado. Currently, Elaine is involved with the breeding and also runs her own grooming shop, while Sarah is involved with the training/showing of all of the dogs. Sarah is also involved with many others breeds and has shown dogs in all groups (most notably her Pugs, Chinese Cresteds and Italian Greyhounds). Sarah works as assistant to professional handler Margery Good and is well on her way to becoming a professional handler herself.
